StRRP - Sensemaking

We are exploring how PH20x student understanding of sensemaking progresses through the three-term sequence. We have updated our sensemaking instruction recently and are looking to characterize the impact this has had. Our sensemaking instruction centers on evaluative sensemaking, or checking the "reasonableness" of answers. This study will use qualitative techniques to describe how student engagement and understanding of these techniques changes, and hopefully improves.
